Interested in being seen as a young scientist and helping inspire the next generation of science students during Semester 1, 2012? The In2science program places university students in their second year of study of above into local schools to help engage and inspire students (grade 5-10) in their studies of science and mathematics.

The Faculty of ICT requires 4 student representatives to sit on our Progress Review panels which are being held on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th February. There will be two sessions per day (morning and afternoon) and we require one volunteer per session. Students must be trained.

To give Swinburne College students an opportunity to practise their English speaking skills outside the classroom, volunteers will meet with College students for an hour to chat. There is no formally set topic or structure. The hour should be treated like a social gathering in order to give College students the most authentic experience.
